Hi! I’m Colleen.
I’ve always been passionate about movement, but over time, I began to notice the gaps in traditional fitness approaches—especially when it came to mental health, fascia awareness, and the mind-body connection.
That’s when I realized I could offer something different. By integrating trauma-informed fitness, wellness education, yoga, and somatic movement, I help people move in ways that feel safe, intuitive, and sustainable. My approach isn’t just about strength or flexibility—it’s about reconnecting with your body, releasing stored tension, and moving with more ease and mindfulness.
Whether you're healing, building resilience, or simply looking for a more mindful approach to movement, I’m here to guide and support you.

-
Movement is more than just exercise—it’s a way to reconnect with your body, release tension, and build strength from a place of awareness. We’ll start with what feels right and what doesn’t. This is the beginning or continuation of self-inquiry, self-exploration and self-discovery.
-
Healing is non-linear. It is something that can be picked up and put down. There is no “end” because we are ever-expanding beings here to continuously learn, unlearn, and navigate new depths of awareness and growth. The great news is that there is a constant stream of new research validating the wellness practices of ancient wisdom. This is where I draw much of my knowledge and inspiration.

Growth isn’t about overextending—it’s about building upon a stable foundation for long-term well-being. This phase focuses on cultivating balance so progress feels natural and not forced or overwhelming. Sustainable growth means listening to your body, honoring your capacity, and making adjustments that support consistency over time.
FAQs
Do I need prior experience with fitness, yoga, or energy work to start?
Not at all! My approach is adaptable to all levels, whether you're brand new or have years of experience. Every session is tailored to your unique being and lifestyle.
Why do so many things at once?
The mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected, and true well-being requires a holistic approach. Strength, movement, mindfulness, and energetic balance all play a role in personal transformation. By integrating multiple modalities, I can meet people where they are and provide a more personalized, adaptable path to wellness.
What does a session look like?
It all depends on you. It could include movement (strength training, yoga, or somatic work), breathwork, energy healing (reiki, sound therapy), guidance to support your well-being, or any combination of the above. We work together to create a session that feels right for you.
What is somatic movement?
A mindful, body-based practice that focuses on internal awareness and intentional movement to release tension, improve mobility, and reconnect with the body. Rather than just performing exercises or stretches, somatic movement involves consciously sensing and feeling how the body moves, often with slow, controlled, and exploratory motions.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you're looking for a holistic approach to movement, healing, and personal growth, this work might be a great fit! Feel free to reach out for a quick chat to see if it aligns with you and your goals.
What is your definition of yoga?
If you’d like to learn more, I recommend reading T.K.V. Desikachar’s book, The Heart of Yoga. Before reading it, I always thought of common translations like, “to unite, to bind, to yoke,” or Patanjali’s definition, “removing the fluctuations (a.k.a. stilling) of the mind.” But then I realized that yoga encompasses all aspects of natural life—including self-realization and transformation, relationships (with ourselves and the world), adaptability, clarity and focus, healing and more. Ultimately, it is up to each of us to develop a spiritual connection and sense of meaning that aligns most with our true selves.
